1. The Hardrockers won the first game of the season, then lost 4-in-a-row before winning the last non-conference game when they defeated MSU Billings 60-51. Most recently, they have played well in their last few games, going to overtime against Regis, then defeating Adams State, and losing close to Colorado Christian and MSU Denver.
2. Offensively, the Hardrockers are shooting 37.6% from three-point range, landing them in the top five of the conference.
3. The Hardrockers have limited opponents' rebounding efforts, allowing 32.3 per game (6th RMAC).
4. Defensively, South Dakota Mines has continued to improve, now 6th in the RMAC, allowing 69.4 points per game.
5. Balanced scoring has been improving of late. In the most recent contest, the Hardrockers had 5 players score between 8 and 10 points in a low-scoring affair against MSU Denver.
