MEDORA, N.D. --- The South Dakota Mines women's golf team earned top honors during the Dickinson State Fall Invitational winning the two-day event while the men's team took second and third place Monday in Medora, North Dakota.
The SD Mines women tallied a 36-hole team score of 711, the University of Jamestown took second with 720 and Dickinson State was third with 754.
Jamestown's Izzy Marchino won the women's individual title with a 172 while Hardrocker
Jessalyn Shipp was runner-up with 175 and teammates
Annika Schooler secured third with 177,
Rianna Garland posted a 179 for fourth place and
Abby Magee took fifth after carding a 181.
Larissa Pawlowski registered a 190 for the 'Rockers and tied for 10
th place and
Alexandra Rauert took a share of 14
th place with a 192.
On the men's side, SDM's
Joseph Vincent fired a second-round 67 and won the tournament with a two-round tally of 145, while Tate Olson of Jamestown took second place with a 150. Hardrocker
Bryce Howard was third with a 151 and teammate
Lane Jensen was a stroke back in fourth place with a 152.
Supawich Bootna finished in eighth place with 158 strokes,
Carson McDaniel secured 13
th position with a 164,
Jamison Smith tied for 14
th place (165),
Adam Salter took a share of 16
th place (167),
Alex Lesselyoung was a stroke back in 18
th place (168),
Jake Francis tied for 19
th place with
Garret Hohn (170),
Walker Scott and
Nathan Martian took a share of 25
th place (174), and
Nicholas Ruhrer posted a 187 for 32
nd place.
In the team standings, Jamestown took the title with a 624, South Dakota Mines "A" was second with 634 and the South Dakota Mines "B" team put up a 639 for third place. Â
