RAPID CITY, S.D. -- The South Dakota School of Mines men's soccer team played host to the Regis University Rangers Sunday afternoon at Sioux Park Stadium in Rapid City, where the visitors overwhelmed the Hardrockers to hang a 4-0 decision during an Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference game.
The 'Rockers ran into a very stingy Ranger defense balanced by an aggressive offense as Regis notched 30 total shots, 17 of which were targeted on goal. The visitors recorded two goals in each period.
Battling through a tough opponent, the 'Rockers managed four shots on goal in the 90 minutes of play and eight total.

Brennan Lamoreaux,
Brenden Sherwin and
Sterling McKenzie all had an attempt on goal.
Tyler Ring suffered the loss as the goalkeeper and despite giving up four goals, managed an impressive 13 saves on the day.
