UCCS dictated the pace of the first half of action as they tallied 16 shots in comparison to the Hardrockers 3. The Cougars scored their first of the match off a penalty kick at the five-minute mark. The Hardrockers responded 1 minute later as George Martinez scored a goal that was assisted by Philip Leano. The Cougars went on to score 3 more goals in the half. Hardrocker goalkeeper tallied an impressive 9 saves in the half.

The second half was an offensive half for both teams. The Cougars scored quickly at the beginning of the half but then the Hardrockers posted two goals in a span of 10 minutes. Evan Mcconnell scored at the 57-minute mark and was assisted by George Martinez. Then, at the 64-minute mark Philip Leano scored his first career goal. Â

The 'Rockers finished the game with 10 shots, 6 of which were on goal. Philip Leano led the Hardrockers with 3 shots on goal. Riley Dunne totaled 12 saves in the 90 minutes of action.

The Hardrockers finish the season 3-13-1 and look to return their entire roster other than senior Midfielder Alireza Kowarsi. The 'Rockers finish the season with the second highest win total in Hardrocker soccer history.
