SD Mines Soccer Falls To MSU Denver in RMAC Showdown

The South Dakota School of Mines men's soccer team fell to Metro State Friday night in an RMAC match up.

 

The 'Rockers dropped the match 4-1. Although they were able to tally more shots throughout the duration of the match in comparison to the Roadrunners, they were unable to find the back of the net.  The Hardrockers posted 14 shots in the game in comparison to the Roadrunners 12. But, the Roadrunners were able to up the Hardrockers by just one shot on goal 6 to 5.  

 

Four different Roadrunners were able to score in Friday's match, Vinicius Krusser, Sam Funnell, Jaime Gutierrez and Bryce Montes.

 

The Hardrockers lone goal came from Brenden Sherwin with his second goal of the season. In the 46th minute he was able to score off a long shot from 18 yards out into the upper left corner of the Roadrunner goal.
