After taking down the only unbeaten team in RMAC play, the Hardrockers will travel to Colorado this weekend for an important weekend of conference action.
The 'Rockers pulled off their second upset of the season over MSU Denver, who had been unfefeated in RMAC play. SD Mines took down the Roadrunners in 4 sets for the first time in school history.

On Friday night, the Hardrockers will face the Mountaineers of Western Colorado State at 7 pm in Gunnison, Colorado. The Mountaineers are 8-9 on the season and 4-5 in RMAC play. They have tallied 722 kills on the season while averaging 11.5 per set. The Mountaineers are led by freshman outside hitter Jordan Todd who has collected 210 kills on the season. They are coming off a 1-1 weekend where they swept the CCU Cougars.
Saturday afternoon the Hardrockers head to Grand Junction, Colorado to take on the Colorado Mesa Mavericks. The Mavericks are 10-7 overall with a 6-3 RMAC record. They will be coming off a 1-1 weekend where they took down Colorado Christian in 4 sets. CMU has posted 835 kills on the season while averaging 14.2 kills per set. The Mavericks are led by middle hitter Kassie Gilfert who has tallied 235 kills this season while posted a .377 hitting percentage.
