Hardrockers Roll Over CSU- Pueblo, 78-60, In RMAC Tilt

RAPID CITY, S.D. --- The South Dakota School of Mines men's basketball team met little resistance Friday night as the Hardrockers rolled over CSU-Pueblo, 78-60, during a Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference matchup at the King Center in Rapid City, South Dakota.

The Hardrockers were firing on all cylinders and led for a majority of the game. They were very effective on the offensive end and by halftime had jumped out the 15-point advantage, 41-34.

SD Mines continued the onslaught to open the second half and with 15:44 remaining in the game, had extended its lead to 27 points, 50-23. The 'Rockers outscored CSUP, 44-41, over the final 20 minutes to earn the conference victory.

SD Mines closed out the game shooting 50 percent from the field, hitting 30-60 attempts, including 5-16 from downtown. They went 13-17 from the free throw line, hauled in 45 rebounds, recorded 15 assists, five steals and one block.

The Thunderwolves made good on 22-61 attempts to shoot 36.1 percent from the field. They did convert 9-30 on three-pointers, added 7-15 on free throws, brought down 30 rebounds, eight assists, eight steals and three blocks.

The Hardrockers were paced by Allec Williams with 21 points, two rebounds and one steal. Damani Hayes tacked on 16 markers, eight rebounds, two assists and two steals. Troy Brady cashed in for 12 points, two rebounds and a steal while Mitchell Sueker contributed with 10 points six rebounds and two assits.
