RAPID CITY, S.D. --- The South Dakota School of Mines men's soccer team challenged the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference's No. 3 team – the Westminster College Griffins Friday afternoon at Sioux Park Stadium in Rapid City, South Dakota.
The Hardrockers held the 8-1-1 Griffins scoreless in the first half but gave up a pair of goals, the first on an unassisted goal in the 68
th minute and then added a final goal at the 81:28 mark off an assist.
Westminster stepped up their tempo in the second half of the game recording a majority of their 17 total shots over the final 45 minutes. Westminster finished the game with nine shots on goal. The Hardrockers tallied seven total shots, with just one on goal.

Brenton Brakke had the lone shot on goal while
Justin Barkow took two shots while
Bradley Day, Ian Debois,
Cameron Thompson and
George Martinez were all credit with one shot.
Hardrocker goalkeeper
Kyle Daledovich suffered the loss, playing all 90 minutes, but did notch seven saves in the 17 shots he faced.
