Pacey Moats was hired on June 24, 2026.
Moats comes to Rapid City after spending four years as the Events and Facilities Coordinator at Mid-American Energy RecPlex in West Des Moines, Iowa. In that role, he oversaw ticket sales, box office operations and guest transactions for athletic events. He also assisted with financial operations and sales to support budgeting decisions and operational planning.
Moats also served as an Activities Director Intern at Woodward Granger Community School District, as well as a coordinator at the Woodward-Granger Youth Basketball Program.
Moats earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology & Health from Iowa State University and a Master of Arts in Kinesiology & Sport Management from the University of South Dakota.
