South Dakota Mines

Wendel is currently in her fifth year working with South Dakota Mines after initially being hired and brought onto the athletic training staff in 2020.

• Hannah Wendel was hired as an athletic trainer at South Dakota Mines at South Dakota Mines in 2019.
• In 2023, Wendel was promoted to associate athletic trainer.
• Wendel currently has football and men’s basketball as primary sports, but has also covered soccer during her time at SDM.
• While in school, Wendel got experience as an athletic trainer, covering football, volleyball, softball, wrestling and track & field.
• Wendel was a collegiate gymnast at the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire, also graduating from there in 2019 with a bachelor of science in athletic training.
