Hardrocker Golf Team Named GCAA All-Academic

NORMAN, Okla. – On Tuesday, the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) announced its Outstanding Team Academic Award Recipients where the golf teams from South Dakota Mines were honored.
 
The GCAA honors teams with a Presidents Special Recognition (3.5+ GPA) and All-Academic Teams (3.0 GPA).
 
There were 25 Division II teams selected for as All-Academic teams and South Dakota Mines was one of them.
 
The Hardrocker male golfers obtained a 3.402 GPA while the women earned a 3.187 GPA.

Established in 1958, the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) is the professional organization of men's collegiate golf coaches. The GCAA's mission is to support its member coaches from six divisions, including the NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA, by creating educational opportunities, providing resources, and promoting its members with the purpose of enhancing their overall performance as coaches, mentors, and teachers.
