RAPID CITY, S.D. --- The Hardrocker golf teams played in round 1 of their home tournament, the Hardrocker Fall Invite at the Golf Club at Red Rock on Monday.
The men's A and B teams sit in fifth and fourth, respectively.
Ramey Lloyd had a great round 1, however, shooting a -3, 69 to sit in a tie for first overall.
Joseph Vincent sits just outside the top-10 in a tie for 11th after shooting +4, 76. Also in the top 20 are
Braydon Jones (t15, +7),
Tyler White (t19, +9), and
Caeden Ekroth (t19, +9), while
Supawich Boonta and
Brycen Farris sit just behind them.
On the women's side, the A team had a great first round, sitting in first with a two-stroke lead after round 1, while the B team sits in fifth. Leading the women's team overall is
Kenzie Schroeder, sitting at +3 in her first collegiate tournament. Sitting in a tie for fourth are
Annika Schooler, and
Allison Kahler, making her collegiate debut. Also in the top-10 is
Rianna Garland as she shot +10 on the day. Rounding out the top 20 is
Addiley Lloyd (+13), and right behind her are
Lora Ortega (+14),
Mya Maxwell (+15), and
Kyra Allen (+17).
A shotgun start is scheduled for Tuesday at 9 a.m.
