PUEBLO, Colo. --- The South Dakota Mines men's golf team traveled to Colorado for their final meet of the fall season, playing at the Farmers Insurance Samuel Proal Invitational hosted by CSU-Pueblo at the Pueblo Country Club.
"It was a good tournament with really good competition, some of the best teams in the region," said head coach
Luke Wheeler.

The men were led by
Bryce Howard, posting a top-30 finish, shooting a two-round 143, including an even-par round 1 in what was a packed field of 19 teams.
Roger Nakagawa and
Joseph Vincent both carded 7-over scores over the two rounds.
Lane Jensen and
Jake Francis rounded out the team, both finishing at 14-over.
"It was a good tournament with really good competition, some of the best teams in the region" said head coach
Luke Wheeler, "we played well and ended the fall on a high note."
As a team, the Hardrockers finished 18
th. This tournament closes out the fall season for the men's golf team.
Coach Wheeler added, "now we head into the off-season with some things to work and improve for the spring."
This upcoming weekend sees the Women head to Utah to participate in the Wasatch Invitational, hosted by Westminster College. This will be the last tournament of the fall season for the women's golf team.
