The South Dakota Mines men's golf team will travel to Pueblo, Colorado to compete in the Farmers Insurance Sam Proal Invite on Monday and Tuesday at Walking Stick Golf Course in Pueblo, Colorado. After a week off after the Dickinson State Invite, the Rockers are ready to tee it up in Pueblo.
"The guys are rested and ready to go this week," said Hardrocker head coach
Luke Wheeler. "They have put in a good week-and-a-half of practice and qualifying rounds. This is our last men's tournament of the fall and most of the RMAC (Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference) teams will be there. It will be a good test for us to see how we have improved over the fall."
The Hardrockers finished second at the Dickinson State Invite at Bully Pulpit (Sept. 20-21).
Joseph Vincent took home the medal honors in that tournament, firing a 4-under 67 on the final day.
Qualifying for the CSU Pueblo meet are:
Bryce Howard (SO),
Roger Nakagawa (SO)
Lane Jensen (SO),
Walker Scott (FR), Supawich (Beam) Boonta (FR), and Vincent (FR).
