Volleyball to Close out Regular Season with Westminster and Colorado Mesa

RAPID CITY, S.D. – South Dakota Mines Volleyball concludes the 2025 season this weekend against Westminster and Colorado Mesa.

Series History

The Hardrockers lead Westminster 7-4 in their all-time series. They are 3-2 at the King Center.

Against Colorado Mesa, South Dakota Mines is 2-11 all time. They have won the last two matchups, including a 3-0 win in Denver on Oct. 31.

About the Griffins

Westminster is 15-9 overall and 7-5 in the RMAC. They have won their last two games with 3-0 sweeps over Regis and Chadron State. They hold a 7-2 record away from Salt Lake City. They are tied with South Dakota Mines in seventh place in the RMAC.

Sadie Parrish leads the team with 231 kills and 2.60 kills per set. Mallei Myers has 93 blocks to lead the team. Ava Livolsi is fifth in the RMAC with 4.07 digs per set so far this season.

About the Mavericks

Through 23 contests, Colorado Mesa is 14-9 overall and 8-4 in the RMAC. They have also won two straight games. After their 0-3 loss to the Hardrockers back on Oct. 31, they rattled off wins against Chadron State and Regis.

Sadie Scoville is first on the team with 3.19 kills per set and 274 total kills. They have three players with more than two kills per set. Aesha Alrashed's 1.07 blocks per set ranks third in the RMAC.

About the Hardrockers

South Dakota Mines is tied with Westminster with a 7-5 RMAC record. The Hardrockers have won six of their last eight contests, including their last two games at Colorado School of Mines and against Black Hills State. They are tied for seventh place in the RMAC with Westminster and Adams State.
