Esports Facility
The Hardrocker Esports Practice Facility the first of its kind in South Dakota was opened in August of 2018 and is home to the varsity esports team. The facility located in the Surbeck Center consists of 12 gaming computer stations that benefit from a dedicated high-speed internet connection sponsored by VAST.

The facility is open to all current South Dakota Mines students, faculty, and staff and is open 7 days a week for recreational and competitive gaming. A ggLeap account is required for play and can be created at the attendant desk.
